When children participate in theatre they develop a unique sense of self-awareness, confidence in themselves, and the ability to channel their creativity in positive self-expression. When you sign up, you’ll be a part of the growing Kensington Theatre experience known for its high values and welcoming environment. All of our Boot Camps are in the summer. Registration opens every year on January 1 at noon.
Want to be on our Boot Camp Staff? Staff has the option of a 50% scholarship to their camps. There are only 12 scholarship available (4 for JBC/4 for JBC Girls/4 for TBC). Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients! Scholarship applications for Summer, 2026 will open Fall, 2025.
So you want to learn how to act, sing and dance? Are you in K-6th Grade? Awesome! Kensington Theatre Company’s Theatre School is the place to play! You will learn the ins and outs of theatre from our top-notch production team! This is a two week, afternoon program with one performance at the end. Registration: $150. More Info
Junior Boot Camp (JBC) is designed to give teens an intensely memorable theatre experience for teens in 7th through 9th grade. This is a one week, all day program with one performance at the end. Registration: $200. More Info
Junior Girls Boot Camp (JBC Girls) is designed to give teens an intensely memorable theatre experience for teens in 7th through 9th grade. What makes this camp unique is it is just for girls! This is a one week, all day program with one performance at the end. Registration: $200. More Info
Teen Boot Camp (TBC) is designed to be a rigorous theatre learning experience. It will be very challenging, quick paced, and demanding. If your teen has been aching to be a better actor, this intense program is the solution! This is a three week (all day the first two weeks and all night the last week) program with three performances at the end. Registration: $350. More Info
