Director’s Note:
In 2015, I directed Tarzan for Kensington Theatre. I had never seen it before onstage and that made me a little nervous but I loved the story and had some fun ideas so I went to work with an incredible team and cast. It was an infectious experience: one that we all longed to feel again. So, we decided… why not? We gathered another cast and team of equally talented people and have thoroughly enjoyed Tarzan 2019 just as much! What is about this show that makes it so memorable? Of course the music, the dancing, the characters, and the writing. But I believe it’s message about families, of all kinds, that really touches our hearts. Thank you for being a part of our Tarzan 2019 family tonight! And to all our Tarzan 2015 family, welcome home.
